Arrabon

Setting A Table for Multidimensional Racial Healing

Mission

A mission-oriented organization can make deeper connections with clients and partners with a visual identity that can grow with them on every step of the journey. Arrabon needed a visual language to tell their story and invite people into their mission. Two major goals were to bring clarity around name (not defining the meaning, but ascribing meaning) and to establish aesthetic hierarchy and consistency.

OUTCOME

We designed fresh visual identity along with sub-brands, program icons, brand swag, pitch deck, and brand guidelines for Arrabon to use as to effectively teach, guide, and connect with their clients and partners.

IMPACT

Working together brought strategic and visual cohesion to their programming, increased visibility and brand awareness.

THE SCOPE

  • Brand Strategy & Creative Direction

  • Visual Identity Design

  • Iconography

  • Digital Collateral

Founded in 2012, on the heals of the murder of Trayvon Martin, Arrabon is a mission-driven non-profit organization helping churches and organizations become spiritually, emotionally, and culturally mature to effectively engage in the work of racial healing, justice, and culture-making. In a season of development and growth, Arrabon needed to refresh their brand identity to align with the core of their work and to bring cohesion while expanding the way their brand is experienced.

Arrabon Pitch Deck

The visual language, simple yet non-euro-centric vibe, reflects the multidimensional soul behind Arrabon. Their rhythm of welcome and cultivation are at the core of the brand identity. The custom logotype begins with a reference to a table, both a place of welcome and a dialogue. The colorful pattern references stained glass depicting an abstract otherworld. It is a hint at a place to come –mosaic of vibrant colors, pulsing with life and hopefulness.

This consistent visual language is what ties together Arrabon's family of brand elements.
